Israeli husband-and-wife team Lea and Armin Gottlieb first began designing swimwear in 1954. Now, almost 50 years later, their company, Gottex, has expanded its business to include chic, beachwear accessories such as towels, bags, and silk scarves. Appealing to every type of beach-goer, Gottex's 2002 collection suits any mood, with animal-chic, vintage, high-society, and art-deco accents. The company is still best known for traditional colors, sexy cuts, and creative blends of textiles apparent in every suit carrying the label.
