Profile

Parties at this indoor-outdoor lounge are bumping. When DJs spin Wednesday through Saturday, the ethnically mixed crowd of men in casual business attire and shimmery women gets down to whatever's on the turntables (often eighties pop and contemporary hip-hop). It's the setting that really heightens the mood, though: a 15th floor rooftop overlooking Midtown, with a view to the glowing pyramids crowning Worldwide Plaza, and down Broadway to Times Square, which is engulfed in brightness at 1am. Meanwhile the immediate atmosphere replicates a night at the beach, with wicker stools, dune grass and a 10-foot palm tree surrounded by a wooden bench. Downstairs in the equally crowded, tall-windowed penthouse, cushioned, modular couches striped in green, blue and brown enhance the positive energy while cocktails in the family of Razberi Cooler, the Key Lime and the peachy Tiger Lily keep things colorful.

Extra

On full nights, there can be a wait by the lobby elevators; the indoor lounge is on the penthouse floor, and the rooftop is one flight up.

Crowded because its small not because of demand to be there.... decent view but nothing special, cozy in a claustrophopic kind a way. Finally, lunatic bouncer guy accused my very professional party of 5 business people of swiping a cheesy LED...Read More
