Profile
If you're the type who likes to play games while you drink, here's another one for you: shuffleboard! Serving the beer-and-ball community since 1967, Nancy Whiskey is one of the only bars in New York that offers this particular mechanical distraction (bank shuffleboard). The amicable, heavy-drinking working-stiff crowd is happy to let you play as long as you partake sufficiently in the wide range of cheap, intoxicating beverages, which start flowing at 9 a.m. sharp (noon on Sundays). By the end of the night, some of the old-timers look as if they need to be carted out in wheelbarrows. And don't worry about losing your motor skills—everyone else has.
