According to the owners, the name means “crazy” in Provençal dialect. More specifically, “someone who has a fairy in his head.” That might explain how they ended up in the never-never land of Williamsburg, but well done dishes like coq au vin, cassoulet, and tender sautéed calamari, not to mention the gentle prices, seem sane enough.
