Profile
The staff at this downtown linen and loungewear shop thinks the bedroom is "the most important room in the house," and the bedding for sale certainly shows a commitment to that claim. The store has doubled its space since opening in 2000, providing ample room not only for the merchandise but also for the waves of shoppers and professional designers in search of 1,000-thread-count Egyptian-cotton sateen sheets, luxurious down comforters, and colorful accent pillows. Owner Nancy Koltes does recognize, however, that other rooms need love, too, hence the cake stands, dinner plates, and coffee mugs for the rest of the house. There are also plenty of bath products like sweet-smelling body wash and aromatherapy candles as well as a selection of bright and comfy PJs for when you return to where you really belong: in bed.
