Zigzagging between the small rooms and the main dance floor at this massive West Chelsea nightspot could keep even the most attention-deficit-disordered clubber happy. Crobar’s side rooms are home to some of the weirdest after-dark fun since the days of the Tunnel: On a recent Saturday night, Budweiser reps hawking free beer mingled with downtown drag icons and sleazy male strippers. In the main space, crowds of glow-stick-wielding twentysomethings and shirtless Chelsea boys dance to the world’s biggest D.J.’s, like Sasha and Danny Tenaglia. Superbly crisp sound systems make it easy to get lost in the music, no matter where you are. A predictable choice? Sure, but still clubland’s best.
