To celebrate its 80th anniversary, Fendi (677 Fifth Ave., nr. 53rd St.; 212-759-4646) is opening a new Peter Marino–designed flagship on November 3. Besides signature over-the-top furs and must-have bags (now perched on a fifteen-foot hand-plastered wall display), the 7,500-square-foot space boasts 30-foot windows, a virtual fountain, and running film clips of sexy Hollywood stars draped in Karl Lagerfeld’s designs.
Helen Ficalora’s wildly popular gold alphabet charm necklace can be found in her new self-titled store from November 3 (21 Cleveland Pl., nr. Spring St.; 212-219-3700). Expect to see romantic gold floral bands ($350 to $1,200), sweet button earrings (from $120), and, of course, more charms.
For women looking to drop post-baby weight, or just looking for support, Centered (114 W. 14th St., at Seventh Ave., second fl.; 212-633-1233) is a new 2,200-square-foot loftlike studio that offers Pilates, women’s support groups, and a reference library.
