Profile
On a rapidly gentrifying Alphabet City block, two Egyptian brothers have carved out their own North African niche and accessorized it with Moroccan tile, glowing lanterns, and a weatherproofed garden. A Moroccan chef oversees a menu of assorted tajines and couscous, and meze like grilled octopus. Linger long enough to smoke a hookah and admire the belly dancer.
Live DJDaily, 10 p.m.—4 a.m.; belly dancing starts at 9 p.m. every night except Sunday
