Profile

Everyone at Frank Pellegrino Jr.’s Baldoria toils to make sure customers stay happy enough to sing along with Jimmy Roselli on the jukebox. There’s luscious veal scallopine, aromatic spaghetti with clams, a raw bar upstairs, and best of all, 200 seats. So, if you still can’t get into Rao’s—Junior’s father’s legendary celebrity hangout—now you don’t have to.

The decor is very stark and even a bit grungy - but for Rao-Quality Meatballs (ya gotta try 'em) and delcious red-sauce classics, this is a good bet. A bit pricey, though. (What-dya-want? It's BALDORIA.)
