A hand-painted sign on the back wall proudly proclaims this stylishly shabby saloon—a neighborhood staple for over a decade—to be the "Home of Warm Beer, Lousy Food, Ugly Owner." But make no mistake: The Waterfront serves its wide and eccentric beer selection at just the right temperature, and with an earthy but imaginative menu boasting venison chili, salmon and pastrami smoked on the premises and massive salads, the food can only be described as the best pub grub around.
