Profile
Both the hard-scrabbled and the hip have a home at O'Connor's, located on the outskirts of Park Slope since 1931. The biggest change this place has seen in the past twenty years came in 2000, when drink prices went up by 50 cents (leaving most still around three bucks a pop). The drink list is yellowing, the wooden booths faded and worn, but they've got the basics nailed down: ice cold Bud and an incredible selection of indie, surf, country, soul and jazz offerings on the jukebox. You may have to wait for a seat when the place fills up; but with such friendly people and stagnant prices, who cares?
