Profile

This venue is closed.

Since it opened in 1998, Tonic has garnered consistent acclaim for showcasing the finest avant-garde jazz, rock and electronic acts. Performances are always intimate, as hordes of frontier music fans descend upon the club nightly for a taste of the latest tonal and atonal twists. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the downstairs lounge features DJs and visual-effects designers blending polyrhythmic breakbeats and distorted images for the excess crowd from upstairs.
