Slim and Fast
Stretched across Oldham’s living room are just a few of his wooden “Jewels,” commissioned from a Pennsylvania chain-saw artist. “There are now 400 of them.” Oldham designed his own Slim-Fast table—“The skinnier table creates a more intimate dinner”—and upholstered the Case Study chairs, from Modernica, in lime-green wool. On the floor are InterfaceFLOR carpet tiles: “Both rugs here were laid down in less than an hour,” says Oldham, standing next to his dog, Ann. “I promptly burned a hole in one, and we replaced it in 40 seconds.”
