He draws heavily on the expertise of colleagues in his company's London, Paris, and Los Angeles offices. The fee is based on the complexity of the trip, and ranges from $150 for a few calls up to $500 for, say, a private safari in Africa.

The friendly agents at this Aussie-and-Kiwi-run agency specialize in trips to Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. The leading honeymoon package offers round-trip airfare on Qantas, limousine airport transport, and a nine-night stay at five-star resorts in Sydney, Cairnes, and Melbourne ($2,099). Extremely useful is their gift registry service—just book a trip and your guests can pitch in to cover the cost.

President Liliane Nash books the agency’s honeymoons—to Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean. After more than 30 years in business, Nash knows her destinations. “Bora Bora is hot for the jet set right now,” she confides. She’s not, however, above arranging wonderful but less exotic trips: “I can tell immediately whether they’ll love Sandals.” No fee if you book a package; cost for arranging stays at multiple hotels ranges from $50 to $100.

International Tours & Cruises offers two cool services: First, it'll set up a honeymoon registry, where wedding guests can contribute to a fund for the trip. And the agency also makes you a free personalized video, with pictures of your honeymoon (which you provide) set to music. No fee.

Fees start at $250.

Joseph Vos is an expert on honeymoons and wedding trips to Italy, France, and England. Having been married five times himself, he certainly knows what he’s talking about. Fees vary with the complexity of the trip planned.
