Andréa and Liza Young, the owners and operators of this slender (it’s got one treatment room) laser hair-removal spa, host brides-to-be and their entourages. Beam uses a Gentlemax Laser, the newest technology that works on all skintones, to painlessly zap away unwanted fuzz ($150 to $600 per session).

Bliss

This day spa is as popular as ever, doling out treatments like the triple-oxygen facial ($160) and carrot-and-sesame body buff ($165). Brides concerned with fine lines and wrinkles can try Bliss’s new The Youth As We Know It facial ($195).

Chopra Center & Spa at Dream

At this Eastern-inspired midtown spa, couples can indulge in a detoxifying mud-and-steam session ($65), full-body massages using warm herbalized oils ($185 for 70 minutes), and the Navina sensory bath with herbs and essential oils ($65). Save 10 percent by booking three or more treatments per person.

Christine Chin Spa

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen swears by Christine Chin’s Glow facial, which includes deep-pore cleansing, massage, a mud mask, and a ginseng mask (from $120). The spa also offers a wide array of body treatments.

Clarins Skin Spa

This spa is known for its customized wedding regimen, either a six-week (about $1,300) or nine-week (about $1,700) work-up to the wedding day. The weekly sessions include cellulite control, exfoliation, and makeup lessons. It can accommodate private soirées of five to ten guests in their orchid-filled solarium ($75 to $150 per person).

Completely Bare

This popular spa specializes in hair removal; it’s good for a Brazilian wax before a beach honeymoon. Sign up for microdermabrasion ($185 a session) to give your skin a boost before the wedding.

Cornelia Day Resort

Bridal groups can opt for the half-day package, which includes a Champagne lunch ($500), or design a package to their specifications. Delluva Vinotherapy Day Spa

Delluva is the only spa in New York to offer vinotherapy (à la wine grapes). Its bridal packages (starting from $1,350) to help complexions include monthly facials and massages for four months leading up to the wedding, plus makeup application on the day of the wedding.

With its surprisingly comprehensive supply of Guinot and other luxurious products, this uptown spa is an unassuming source of relaxing skin services. Its bikini wax is famously gentle and the Body & Soul wrap minimizes bloating ($80).

This midtown spa is best-known for its waxes (lip, $12; bikini, $29), but brides love the well-priced packages, like the half-day Body Beautifier ($225): a massage, facial, sea-salt scrub, and choice of mani or pedi.

Eden Day Spa

This is the place for big bachelorette parties—the 8,000-square-foot space can hold a private group of twenty at a time for services like manicures, pedicures, and hydrating facials. And with the kitchen whipping up food (free for those who spend $80 or more), everyone can hang out and relax.

Brides come to this holistic spa to get in wedding-day shape. Exhale’s six-week transformation package ($2,000), focuses on nutrition and fitness. The Lift facial ($195) will make skin firmer and brow sculpting ($120) from Eliza Petrescu of Eliza’s Eyes—their in-house brow expert—is icing on the cake.

Faina European Day Spa

This low-key spa has adjustable walls to accommodate bridal parties of up to eight (save 10 to 20 percent on groups). The Couples Retreat ($220 per person) includes a steam shower, body scrub, massage, facial, and snack. Book one month in advance.

Gansevoort Spa

This spa lurks in Hotel Gansevoort’s lower level, changing its skin on weekend nights to become a posh lounge. Facials start at $70, and a couple’s massage under a rooftop cabana is $180.

Gloria Cabrera Salon and Spa

This midtown spa will pamper the bride and her friends with individual services, or with its Bridal Shower package, which includes a massage, facial, pedicure, manicure, hairstyling, and makeup application ($225 per person).

Graceful Spa

There’s no fooling around here, with no-frills, deep-tissue massages starting at just $40. For a gentler touch, they also offer less-intense Swedish massages. Some packages include facials and body scrubs. Graceful Spa can host bachelorette parties of up to eight people.

Great Jones Spa

With water cures and hot-stone saunas, Great Jones Spa is a best bet for relaxation. Brides and grooms can take advantage of the VIP room with duet massages and a private Jacuzzi, or try the new Pure Fiji Coconut Sugar Glow body exfoliation ($150).

This hip but unpretentious Soho spot is a great place for all the usual spa treatments, including fantastic pedicures (from $38) and facials (from $65). For brides who want more, $15,000 will get them and up to 30 lucky friends a full-day private party at the spa.

J'Aime Day Spa

This minimalist spa offers a package that is anything but. The Rejuvenate includes an exfoliating honey-and-milk polish, a scalp massage, manicure, paraffin pedicure, and facial, all for $200. Wine is served with all packages (starting from $95.

J. Sisters International

This beauty parlor is famous for its incredibly thorough bikini waxes, but it’s also a good place for all-in-one bridal packages. Before the big day, brides can sign up for the works: manicure, pedicure, hair, makeup, and, of course, a Brazilian ($500 to $600).

La Prairie at the Ritz-Carlton Spa

La Prairie is the place for relaxing skin treatments—and it’s also great for a girls’ get-together. With their plush and roomy relaxation areas and six treatment rooms, booking a service like the rich Silver Rain manicure ($70) or pedicure ($105) is as much an exercise in primping as in catching up with bridesmaids..

Lather Spa

The Lather Spa package ($300) pampers brides with a pedicure and manicure ($25 to $60), and a facial and massage ($65 to $320). Lather can accommodate bridal parties of fifteen to twenty, and offers an “express” aromatherapy massage lasting 30 minutes ($75).

La Vie Zen Spa

This small spa caters to bridal parties looking for serene and exotic treatments (packages from $500 up). After the Green Tea pedicure ($70) or the Vichy Shower hydrotherapy treatment (starting at $150), their second-floor French garden is a perfect spot to relax.
